TIRASPOL, Sep. 10, 2003 (AMP) — Portugal 2004 (Qualifiers) : Moldova defeated Belarus by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro qualifying game on Wednesday night at the Sheriff Stadium in Tiraspol.
The result put the Moldovans fourth in Group 3 with 6 points. Belarus is bottom with 3 points. In their last game, Moldova will meet second-placed the Netherlands at the Sheriff Stadium on October 11.
