SOLNA, Oct. 11, 2003 (AMP) — Portugal 2004 (Qualifiers) : Latvia defeated Sweden by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro qualifying game on Saturday afternoon. Sweden secured their ticket to the finals but Latvia will have to go through the playoffs.
