ATHENS, Oct. 16, 2002 (AMP) — Portugal 2004 (Qualifiers) : Greece defeated Armenia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday.
The result put the Greek third in Group 6 with 3 points. Armenia is fourth with one point. In their next game, Greece will meet Northern Ireland on April 2, while Armenia will face Northern Ireland.
