ISTANBUL, Oct. 16, 2002 (AMP) — Portugal 2004 (Qualifiers) : Turkey defeated Liechtenstein by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday.
The result put the Turk top of Group 7 with 9 points. Liechtenstein is fourth with one point. In their next game, Turkey will meet second-placed England on April 2, while Liechtenstein will face England.
