SKOPJE, Jun. 7, 2003 (AMP) — Portugal 2004 (Qualifiers) : Macedonia defeated Liechtenstein by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2004 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Macedonians fourth in Group 7 with 5 points. Liechtenstein is bottom with one point. In their next game, Macedonia will meet second-placed Turkey on June 11, while Liechtenstein will face Turkey.
