ISTANBUL, Jun. 11, 2003 (AMP) — Portugal 2004 (Qualifiers) : Turkey defeated Macedonia by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-2), in a qualifying game for the 2004 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Turk top of Group 7 with 15 points. Macedonia is fourth with 5 points. In their next game, Turkey will meet Liechtenstein on September 6, while Macedonia will face England.
