Spain beats Russia to reach Euro final
VIENNA, Jun. 26, 2008 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 : Spain reached the UEFA Euro final for the third time in their history with a 3-0 win against Russia (halftime: 0-0) on Thursday night at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna.
Russia made the Spaniards doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Xavi ('50), Güiza ('73) and Silva ('82).
