BRUSSELS, Nov. 15, 2006 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Poland defeated Belgium by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Pole third in Group A with 10 points. Belgium is fourth with 7 points. In their next game, Poland will meet Azerbaijan on March 24, while Belgium will face Portugal.
