HELSINKI, Nov. 15, 2006 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Finland defeated Armenia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Finnish top of Group A with 11 points. Armenia is 7th with one point. In their next game, Finland will meet Azerbaijan on March 28, while Armenia will face Poland.
