ALMATY, Mar. 24, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Kazakhstan defeated Serbia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Serbians third in Group A with 10 points. Kazakhstan is 6th with 5 points. In their next game, Serbia will meet Portugal on March 28, while Kazakhstan will face Armenia.
