WARSAW, Mar. 24, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Poland defeated Azerbaijan by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Pole top of Group A with 13 points. Azerbaijan is bottom with one point. In their next game, Poland will meet Armenia on March 28, while Azerbaijan will face Finland.
