KIELCE, Mar. 28, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Poland defeated Armenia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Pole top of Group A with 16 points. Armenia is bottom with one point. In their next game, Poland will meet Azerbaijan on June 2, while Armenia will face Kazakhstan.
