HELSINKI, Jun. 6, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Finland defeated Belgium by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Finnish fourth in Group A with 14 points. Belgium is 5th with 7 points. In their next game, Finland will meet Kazakhstan on August 22, while Belgium will face Serbia.
