BAKU, Oct. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Serbia defeated Azerbaijan by a big score of 6-1 (halftime: 4-1), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Serbians third in Group A with 20 points. Azerbaijan is bottom with 5 points. In their next game, Serbia will meet group leaders Poland on November 21, while Azerbaijan will face Finland.
