BRUSSELS, Oct. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Belgium defeated Armenia by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Belgians 5th in Group A with 15 points. Armenia is 6th with 9 points. In their next game, Belgium will meet group leaders Poland on November 17, while Armenia will face Portugal.
