CHORZóW, Nov. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Poland defeated Belgium by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Pole top of Group A with 27 points. Belgium is 5th with 15 points. In their last game, Poland will meet Serbia on November 21, while Belgium will face Azerbaijan.
