TOFTIR, Aug. 16, 2006 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Georgia defeated the Faroe islands by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Georgians top of Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Georgia will meet France on September 2, while the Faroe islands will face Scotland.
