BARI, Mar. 28, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Italy defeated Scotland by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Scot second in Group B with 12 points. Italy is fourth with 10 points. In their next game, Scotland will meet the Faroe islands on June 6, while Italy will face the Faroe islands.
