ODESSA, Mar. 28, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Ukraine defeated Lithuania by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Ukrainians third in Group B with 12 points. Lithuania is 6th with 4 points. In their next game, Ukraine will meet group leaders France on June 2, while Lithuania will face Georgia.
