SAINT DENIS, Jun. 2, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : France defeated Ukraine by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the French top of Group B with 15 points. Ukraine is fourth with 12 points. In their next game, France will meet Georgia on June 6, while Ukraine will face Georgia.
