TóRSHAVN, Oct. 13, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : France defeated the Faroe islands by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the French second in Group B with 22 points. The Faroe islands is bottom with no points. In their next game, France will meet Lithuania on October 17, while the Faroe islands will face Ukraine.
