GLASGOW, Oct. 13, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Scotland defeated Ukraine by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Scot top of Group B with 24 points. Ukraine is fourth with 13 points. In their next game, Scotland will meet Georgia on October 17, while Ukraine will face the Faroe islands.
