Euro 2008 Qualifiers : Ukraine beats Faroe islands 5-0
KIEV, Oct. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Ukraine defeated the Faroe islands by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Ukrainians fourth in Group B with 16 points. The Faroe islands is bottom with no points. In their next game, Ukraine will meet Lithuania on November 17, while the Faroe islands will face Italy.
