TA' QALI, Sep. 2, 2006 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Malta by a score of 5-2 (halftime: 3-1), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.

The result put the Bosnians top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Bosnia and Herzegovina will meet Hungary on September 6, while Malta will face Turkey.
