ISTANBUL, Sep. 12, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Turkey defeated Hungary by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Turk second in Group C with 17 points. Hungary is 5th with 9 points. In their next game, Turkey will meet Moldova on October 13, while Hungary will face Malta.
