OSLO, Nov. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Turkey defeated Norway by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Turk second in Group C with 21 points. Norway is third with 20 points. In their last game, Turkey will meet Bosnia and Herzegovina on November 21, while Norway will face Malta.
