PRAGUE, Mar. 24, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Germany defeated Czech republic by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Germans top of Group D with 13 points. Czech republic is second with 10 points. In their next game, Germany will meet San Marino on June 2, while Czech republic will face Cyprus.
