SERRAVALLE, Sep. 8, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Czech republic defeated San Marino by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Czech second in Group D with 17 points. San Marino is bottom with no points. In their next game, Czech republic will meet third-placed Ireland on September 12, while San Marino will face Cyprus.
