NICOSIA, Sep. 12, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Cyprus defeated San Marino by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Cypriot 6th in Group D with 10 points. San Marino is bottom with no points. In their next game, Cyprus will meet Wales on October 13, while San Marino will face Slovakia.
