MUNICH, Oct. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Czech republic defeated Germany by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Germans top of Group D with 23 points. Czech republic is second with 23 points. In their next game, Germany will meet Cyprus on November 17, while Czech republic will face Slovakia.
