PRAGUE, Nov. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Czech republic defeated Slovakia by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Czech second in Group D with 26 points. Slovakia is 6th with 13 points. In their last game, Czech republic will meet Cyprus on November 21, while Slovakia will face San Marino.
