HANOVER, Nov. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Germany defeated Cyprus by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Germans top of Group D with 26 points. Cyprus is 5th with 14 points. In their last game, Germany will meet Wales on November 21, while Cyprus will face Czech republic.
