TALLINN, Mar. 24, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Russia defeated Estonia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Russians second in Group E with 11 points. Estonia is 6th with no points. In their next game, Russia will meet Andorra on June 2, while Estonia will face Israel.
