ANDORRA LA VELLA, Jun. 6, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Israel defeated Andorra by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Israelians top of Group E with 17 points. Andorra is bottom with no points. In their next game, Israel will meet England on September 8, while Andorra will face Estonia.
