SKOPJE, Nov. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Macedonia defeated Croatia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Croatians top of Group E with 26 points. Macedonia is 5th with 14 points. In their last game, Croatia will meet second-placed England on November 21, while Macedonia will face Israel.
