SOLNA, Jun. 6, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Sweden defeated Iceland by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Swedish top of Group F with 18 points. Iceland is 5th with 4 points. In their next game, Sweden will meet Denmark on September 8, while Iceland will face Spain.
