REYKJAVíK, Sep. 8, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Iceland tied 1-1 with Spain (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.

The result put the Spaniard second in Group F with 16 points. Iceland is 6th with 5 points. In their next game, Spain will meet Latvia on September 12, while Iceland will face Northern Ireland.
