VADUZ, Oct. 13, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Sweden defeated Liechtenstein by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Swedish top of Group F with 22 points. Liechtenstein is bottom with 4 points. In their next game, Sweden will meet third-placed Northern Ireland on October 17, while Liechtenstein will face Iceland.
