VADUZ, Oct. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Liechtenstein defeated Iceland by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Icelander 6th in Group F with 8 points. Liechtenstein is bottom with 7 points. In their last game, Iceland will meet third-placed Denmark on November 21, while Liechtenstein will face Latvia.
