SOLNA, Oct. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Sweden tied 1-1 with Northern Ireland (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Swedish top of Group F with 23 points. Northern Ireland is fourth with 17 points. In their next game, Sweden will meet second-placed Spain on November 17, while Northern Ireland will face Denmark.
