RIGA, Nov. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Latvia defeated Liechtenstein by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a Euro qualifying game on Saturday night.
The result put the Latvians 5th in Group F with 12 points. Liechtenstein is bottom with 7 points. In their last game, Latvia will meet group leaders Sweden on November 21.
