MADRID, Nov. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Spain defeated Sweden by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Spaniard top of Group F with 25 points. Sweden is second with 23 points. In their last game, Spain will meet third-placed Northern Ireland on November 21, while Sweden will face Latvia.
