EINDHOVEN, Sep. 6, 2006 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : The Netherlands defeated Belarus by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Dutch top of Group G with 6 points. Belarus is 5th with one point. In their next game, the Netherlands will meet second-placed Bulgaria on October 7, while Belarus will face Romania.
