CELJE, Oct. 7, 2006 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Slovenia defeated Luxembourg by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Slovenians fourth in Group G with 3 points. Luxembourg is bottom with no points. In their next game, Slovenia will meet Belarus on October 11, while Luxembourg will face Bulgaria.
