MINSK, Oct. 11, 2006 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Belarus defeated Slovenia by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 1-2), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Belarusians fourth in Group G with 4 points. Slovenia is 5th with 3 points. In their next game, Belarus will meet Luxembourg on March 24, while Slovenia will face Albania.
