LUXEMBOURG, Oct. 11, 2006 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Bulgaria defeated Luxembourg by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Bulgarians top of Group G with 8 points. Luxembourg is bottom with no points. In their next game, Bulgaria will meet Albania on March 28, while Luxembourg will face Belarus.
