LUXEMBOURG, Mar. 24, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Belarus defeated Luxembourg by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Belarusians fourth in Group G with 7 points. Luxembourg is bottom with no points. In their next game, Belarus will meet second-placed Bulgaria on June 2, while Luxembourg will face Romania.
