PIATRA NEAMţ, Mar. 28, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Romania defeated Luxembourg by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Wednesday night.
The result put the Romanians top of Group G with 11 points. Luxembourg is bottom with no points. In their next game, Romania will meet Slovenia on June 2, while Luxembourg will face Albania.
