TIRANA, Jun. 2, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Albania defeated Luxembourg by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Albanians 5th in Group G with 6 points. Luxembourg is bottom with no points. In their next game, Albania will meet Luxembourg on June 6, while Luxembourg will face Albania.
