MINSK, Jun. 2, 2007 (AMP) — Austria Swizerland 2008 (Qualifiers) : Bulgaria defeated Belarus by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night.
The result put the Bulgarians third in Group G with 12 points. Belarus is fourth with 7 points. In their next game, Bulgaria will meet Belarus on June 6, while Belarus will face Bulgaria.
